    Getting started on Computer Forensics...

I don't know much about the computer forensics field...but I would assume that Computer Security is the way to go. And a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Specialist) certification probably is the best certification to obtain for that field. See here for more info...

    Questions on Internet Security

No. The proxy can be configured to allow VPN connections through. My network as well accepts VPN connections. In ISA it's simple you just have to right-click on Routing and Remote access and select Accept VPN Connections. That's how simple it was for me. Check out the Microsoft site for ISA...

    Router Recommendation

I have a Belkin 4 port Cable/DSL Gateway Router that to my amazement works perfectly fine. I bought the router because of the cheap price ($45.00 at Staples) but had it for over 9 months now without any issues. It has a built-in firewall that works great and does the job for a small office or...

    PC wont turn itself off.

The problem you have here as suggested may be an ACPI issue. Or it may just be an issue of holding down the power button. Try holding down the power button for at least 30 seconds. It should turn off in 7 seconds or less but if you hold it for 30 seconds and nothing happens...then you know...
