yes i am logged on as Administrator and yes iam trying view by right clicking on My Network Places and select properties .

My win2k pro pc network properties is not being displayed but every thing is working fine . I can see my ip and other seting with ipconfig from cmd but when i am selecting network properties nothing is their.

hi i don't think repair of OS will solv u r problem but u can try that. but the real solusation is the reinstall os it will solv u r problem don't format u r pc just insert win xp cd and run set up this will not tamper u r data and sofrware all the best regards Mandar
