maybe you're pressing that annoying windows key? I think it may be a RAM problem. I'm not sure about it, though. try borrowing RAM from a friend, switcheroo them for a week or so, and see what happens. try putting the RAM in different places. RAM is the best excuse I can think of. =/

what about a BIOS function that goes something like "PCI video card"? have you looked for that?

bah, no edit function. anyways, I think you'd be better off dishing out the $40-50 for a new PSU. that one sounds weak. but definitely use a multimeter on the lines to make sure they're the proper ATX voltages, else you're screwed.
