Search was broken at the time of writing this, so I wasn't able to see if there were other articles about this already... OSPF Metric adjustment
Thanks Gabriel. None of the interfaces currently have a cost assigned. I can't find a reference to Cisco's default when there's no statement - do you know it? If not, I'll just go adding costs to all the interfaces for this destination across the two routers. -

Cisco 2929 rebooting after LED Test!
ARG... well, first, there's no MODE button on it, second, I goofed - it's a 2926. I've tried using the reset button (which you can hold down using a pen tip), but that didn't resolve the issue either. -

Yes, everything was disconnected. We ever tried swapping out every conceivable part with another 2929 to identify the problem. The Sup. card itself seems to be the culprit, but that's the most we can derive from this. -

Nope... that won't work because you can't get any further than the led test. You turn it on, and it happens within a second or two of power - pretty much screws up your ability to do anything else. We've still not figured out what happened. -
2501 Will not reload with startup config
Yeah, you may have to reset it. When the register's set to 0x2142, it will bypass the config stored in flash (basically just ignoring it). If you set the register back to 0x2102, it will read it on boot up again. To do that, get into enabled mode, then into the configuration mode, and type... -

In two of our offices, we have 3660 MB-2FE routers. For line backups, we got a NM-2W module to place in the 4th bay, and in it put 2 WIC-1B-U cards (BRI ports with built in NT1s). The problem in both cases is that the router shows both BRI interfaces as 4/0, instead of 4/0 and 4/1. So far... -
