Stacking 6 2950T-24 Switches
If you want to do a star, I would suggest getting a 3550-12T as your "core" switch and running the 1000BT ports to it. Otherwise chaining the gigabit ports to each other would give you more bandwidth than using the 100BT ports with the star configuration. -
Cat6 Ends
Yes I mean the plugs or "ends." Would it be better to terminate the cable with a Cat6 patch panel, use premade Cat6 jumpers, and Cat6 jacks with premade jumpers? It just seems that there are an awful lot of extra connections between the ends and I usually subscribe to the "less... -
