    We have an access DB that will not open. We receive the following error: Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the object "Databases" Is there a way to recover from this? I have tried Jetaccess but this will not open the DB.

    I am tryig to use the Not Like statement but receive the error "The remianing text does not apear partof the formula". I need to be able to hide a field if the value is not like"1-1-82*" Would appreciatre any help on this

    Yes - I am opening the application accross the network. This is the same on both machines. Nothing installed locally. The application gets added to the list on one of the machines (working one) but not on the other!!

    Thanks for this. However, the machine is delayed even before it looks to logon to the network and will act the same when logging on locally.
