When I open the same type of attachment I keep receiving the same error message:

Can't create file: xxxx.piv.
Check permisions for this folder

The user as local admin permissions.

I cannot understand why this message appears and how to clear it. They are able to open other types of attachments.

Would appreciate any advise.

do they have the software that recognizes the piv extention?

not ott familiar with the extention but i think MatLab uses .piv files.

Yes - THey can open other files with the same extension but different names.

Sample Request.piv (gives the error message)
Order Request.piv (Works ok)
