    d'oh -rereading the first post it makes half sense to me now, too sorry for the confusion. the solution was to uninstall the FW client, reinstall and then apply all patches and go to 7.0.1

    SSL Sites hanging up

    some users are complaining about two SSL web sites hanging up. they have to close the browser down, then reopen. I have adjusted the outbound SSL to be available to all ports as per the KB article at symantec. is there anything else I can do? thanks

    uummm?? reviewing options, I see that the pc in question is an upgrade from NT. I can take the Win2k upgrade disk and run a repair that should take it back to SP1.

    patch SG7000-20020819-00 blocked our ability to get into secure sites. I backed up to the patch prior to that one and it cleared up.
