McGruff743...You hit the nail on the head. I found a NPA of 186..took it out and added 1866 and got no error. Called the school and had them test the number they needed to call and it went thru...thanks!!
Thanks, MrPederman...I could not add it as SPN either. It is in there as NXX and I tried outing the NXX and adding it either as SPN or NPA but still get the error. If I find the solution I'll post it.
Option 11c...
Trying to add 866 toll-free in LD 90 gives me an error ESN072. I printed all the SPNs and they include 1800 and 1888 with RLI 5. What am I doing wrong?
johnpoole...apparently the answering machine has fixed itself (yea, right) the site is telling me it's working correctly again...you think it could be user error :)
johnpoole...there is no night answering point. this is a school and after 4:30 no one is there. this was the reason for the answering machine..to take after/before hours calls from teachers or subs. i'll try outing this set and putting it on another port. thanks..i'll post the outcome.
johnpoole...I can telnet into that switch and after doing a LD 80
.trac 8 0 (slot 8 being the analog card)
I get
.tra110
I guess this is an error telling me something is just not right. Does this means it's disabled? Do analog TNs go disabled?
techman3030...this is the only occurance of this type
johnpoole...what should I look for on the 2616....not sure what you are asking me about the trace.
I copied a 500 set to a new TN and gave it a new DN. Patched it to a jack. It worked correctly for 2 weeks. Now it is "like timing out" The front desk clerk will forward her 2616 to the answering machine and it will stay forwarded for only a few hours now. Nothing has changed that I know of...
TheFletch...I can get into setup. What do you suggest I look for? There is the option to Restore Settings...but I'm not sure what other problems that might cause.
As a result of Hurricane Ivan we lost power in our area. Things are getting back to normal except I'm getting the above error on the terminal screen of one Option 11C. All phones are working and everything appears to be ok....I just can't get rid of this error and login to the system. Any help...
Does anyone know what this means?
Option 11C periodically restarts on it's own. The console says "warm restart, reason 36, interupt changing SL1 priority". This is happening frequently from what I understand from the administrator at this site and all phones service is temporarily interupted...
