    go to the MMC add a snap in for group policy and choose local computer. It should now look just like the policy you had in place, change any of the settings that need to be changed. mine was under windows components under internet explorer Bob Listen A+ MCP CCA

    check the local policy on the computer. Had a similar problem, i would not allow users to close internet explorer. i removed the Group policy, but the policy was still in place, i checked the local policy and sure enough it was still set. So check local security.

    My understanding of the microsoft licensing is that you will need an office license for EACH of the clients. so you would need 18 office licenses not 1. Also on your server, if you are running TS i would AT MINIMUM double your ram.

    go into hardware manager, and look under modems, if there is a red X or a yellow ! you could have problems with the hardware. start there just to make sure the modem is working ok.

    well lets start by finding out what type of internet you use. is it a modem dialing up to an ISP, is it a broadband connection through a network card. Are you on a network and have to pass through a Proxy?
