I don't understand why your default gateway would be as below instead of fa0/0 ip? Also, fa0/1 seems to have some input errors which may or may not be recent, again check speed and duplex mismatch. Then, the following is redundant in your config. -

Switch configuration help
Hi I would ensure the 3560 switch is got a clean config and also ensure the vlan config is cleared before connecting to your network. I would use vtp transparent mode, then create 4 new vlans which are only available on this switch, ensuring no layer 3 interfaces are created for the 4 vlans... -

Hi Please post a scrubbed off config of the switch. Also the log does not indicated it is a problem with STP. I would start by taking off the port security and see what happens. If all works okay, then I would do a show mac address-table int gi4/0/34 dyn and see what comes up. Rgds -Viconsul -

Hi, If you are using a L3 switch and have vlan interfaces configured with ip adressess 10.10.1.242 and 10.10.2.242 for vlans 10 and 20 respectively, then your switch interface connecting to the router no longer needs to remain a trunk port since you are now routing on your switch. Your switch... -

You can do a continuous ping from your host and do a show int fa0/1 and check that the your output packet value increases, that will be an indication that the traffice is getting to the router. -

The network 172.16.0.0/24 is directly connected to Fa0/0 so the router is aware of it and so is 10.1.1.0/24. You only need to configure static routes if the network is not directly connected to the router or there are no routing protocols configured. -
