    by the way you are in the wrong forum for this you need to be in the CS1000 forum. check your RAN routes if they are not running the caller will get dead air or ring no answer while they wait in que.

    THR RAN IS PROBABLY Not running id your RAN routes get disconnected usually the callers get ring no answer until an agent is available- that could be the case here.

    Got an old STK- rls 3. on a CICS 4.1 all is working fine but I need to know if there is a way to have the AA answer answer on the first ring after hrs. right now it ring 4 times during the day. but will like to have it answer at 0 rings after 5 pm. any ideas.

    sound like you want to have one trunk go to a station that is pluggen into an ata -to a fax you will need to assign said line to ring at ata extension only.this line cannot ring in ither phones but it can be used as part of the pool to dial out.

    If you only have 2 lines and dont waht to spend a lot of money, I would sugest getting rid of that phone system and invest in a small Nortel Norstar CICS, or MICS depending on how you see your bussiness growing and featuresthat you might want to use. this small machines have CID cards. for them...

    when you install the new mail did you initialized it and made eure the dn legnth was teh same , and built all teh new mailboxes to be the same as the extension. if so than maybe you got another bad mail.

    no I think they ask you for the serial on the machine, they will see that you had them already and give you new ones.
