Just wanted to let everyone know that I have got the faxing to work flawlessly on Broadvox SIP trunks. The Tech Note from Panasonic that states how to do faxing is completely wrong. Let me know if anyone wants the setup.
The TA-824 does not have ring groups. It is like the 624 in that regard. The only option that works is routing a station port into a trunk port and assigning that to ring on the phones.

Is this on a digital circuit? Did you intentionally turn on side tone? In the USA side tone comes default turned off. We have to enable it through the RS232 port. This may be an option for you if you are on a digital trunk.
