We have a 61c with no 2009, 2112 or 2018 sets configured. We do have a fiber remote IPE shelf, and sometimes the phones on it will ring with no incoming call indicator and it can't be answered.
I was accessing the server from another workstation, then I remembered you must be at the server to install PEPs so I tried it again from the server and it worked.
We are not able to login to CallPilot Manager, we are using the support tools on the server to try a reset however when I enter the ResetAdminPwd command I get an error...
"unable to login as user id blue, user: blue
ResetAdminPwd rc=41405, expected=0
Any ideas?
You can make it work on incoming calls, but you need two lines on the phone.
With the caller on line 2 on hold and an active call on line 1
Press the conference key
Press the line 2 key
Press the conference key again
You now have a conference call on line 1
Another option, instead of parking the call, is to deny exclusive hold (xhd) in the class of service. That way the secretary can place the call on hold and the boss can pick it up.
It sure does, on the analog phone I need to call a phone with a display to verify the number. I need to do some more testing to see if they both ring when called and if I'm on one what happens when I take the other off hook. I'll let ya know.
hawks, I don't quite understand your post. I did swap the analog set for a digital one, but it won't work connected to an analog station module it requires a digital port, and I needed to keep the same extension. The customer would need to purchase an ATA, they already had a digital phone, and...
Jumpermonkey submitted the post for me while I was out of the office. Here's what happened, the customer wanted an analog phone swapped for a digital phone but wanted to keep the same extension. I changed the DN on an available digital port, moved the cross connect and replaced the set, no...
You could enable external call forward and then use the operator assistant feature, that way you could change the number remotely to a cell or home phone, and limit your exposure. Also the caller could determine the importance, and if it is necessary to contact you. The wording of your greeting...
You could use the operator assistant, revert dn, that way the caller can decide what to do. Also the number can be changed on the fly, and once it's set you don't need to turn anything on or off.
While trying to access a mailbox, to reset a password, I got this error...
"Time zone AOS COM object is unable to localize time. -2147467259"
CallPilot 4.0, on a 61c
I have a help desk number setup as an MCDN with a menu service and a time of day controller. During normal business hours, press 1 for the current network status, press 2 for the helpdesk, press 3 for... After hours and holidays there is another option to page the on call duty technician and to...
It does happen, we have a help desk phone and VM setup. Messages are checked on a regular basis, and sometimes hours, days and even weeks later a message will be delivered. We have CP 4.0 on a 61C.
