Calls between the site to individual DN's or to the opposite end PSTN work fine.
Using CDP with location A being 7 and 221-250 DN's, and location B being 8 and 321-332 DN's

We went on site and loaded all available patches on the ver 2 BCM50. This did not fix the ftp patch loading problem.
Anyone else have this problem and found a cure?

Return to Auto Attendant is turned on, but I have tried turning it off. It made no difference.
The General Delivery Mailbox is turned on, and I am able to dial it and leave a message in it from the Auto Attendant.

I have found that in addition to the vpn from the remote site to the BCM you need a vpn from one remote site to the other....basically creating a triangle.
Also, the ports need to be open on all three routers.
I have managed the dynamic/static problem by using the built in Dynamic DNS...
Our customer has a BCM50 ver 2 software.
The Auto Attendant picks up, plays the greeting and continues to CCR Tree 1. At the end of that greeting there should be a short pause and then the call should get transferred to the General Delivery Mailbox.

Yes. The target lines are built with public and private received numbers duplicating the extensions, with the network id included on the private.
Thru further testing I have found that removing the control set from the target line fixes the problem on a version 1 system (our test unit) but...

Have you tried straight from a browser? or only from Element Manager? If from the browser, what does your address look like? Did you use https or just http? https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/callpilotmanager
If his i2050 works, could you use a usb hub to connect the i2002 phone thru the software vpn his laptop is using?
(I'm assuming a software vpn rather than the linksys the i2002 is using)
