That has nothing to do with Exchang but it is a setting in Outlook. Goto Tools -> Options --> Contact Options --> and change the default Full name or File as order.

There is no one good DNS company. I would suggest hosting your dns with the company you have your service with.

Sounds like to me that the workstations are not picking up the dhcp server. If you do a ipconfig /release and then ipconfig /renew, what happens ? If you do not get the correct ip setup from your server, then there is a problem with either wins or your workstations account in the domain. Let...
You need to point the workstations to the internal dns server and set that DNS server to forward packedts not on the lan to go to your isp dns server. Lets start there :)

Good Luck ! Let me know if and how you get it resolved. I have problems in the past with sonicwall and running dhcp on a server. You may want to setup using the dhcp on the sonic wall (atleast temporarily) to see if there is a dhcp issue...
It sounds as though they are logging into a different domain, which will create all new profiles.. with empty my document folders. If you can go into the documents and settings folder and you see the documents there, You need to determine which profiles are being currently used and copy the...
That looks fine :( which is not good. Do this .. enter all static settings on the workstation.
ip
subnet
gateway
dns --> only put in you local dns server not your isp's
wins --> to your wins server (doh) :)
Let me know what happens. CCIE,MCSE+I;MCSA;MCSE(w2k);CNE(5.1);MCNE(6);CIWSP;CIWSA...
I need the info on the workstation when you do an ipconfig /all. Also on the sonicwall, I need you to go into the tools section and goto dns and let me know what the ip address of the primary dns is. Do a dns lookup on the workstation in question as well as one that works properly. Also, go...
They are absolutely correct. You need to make you internal dns server the primary. Then you can go in the setup of you server and setup forwarders to your isp's dns servers ! CCIE,MCSE+I;MCSA;MCSE(w2k);CNE(5.1);MCNE(6);CIWSP;CIWSA
Also I would be much quicker if you had instant messanger so we could do this live :). Let me know if you do and we could get this resolved. IF we get it resolved we will put the solution up on the page here for everyone to see. CCIE,MCSE+I;MCSA;MCSE(w2k);CNE(5.1);MCNE(6);CIWSP;CIWSA
Little confused here with your diagram. You hava 1 wan and 1 lan port on the sonicwall. the only thing that should be connected to the wan port is the cable modem or whatever technology you have. Then you should have a switch/hub connected to the lan port on the firewall. The other hubs are...
Hope this helps.
I had this test machine that was a DC running DNS. I was getting this error, every two hours. I got rid of this error as follows:
1. In the TCP/IP properties of the machine I selected "Advanced" and then "DNS"
2. In the "DNS server addresses, in order...
If you go into the tools section of your firewall.. can you ping the workstation from the firewall ? Just taking it a step at a time here :) CCIE,MCSE+I;MCSA;MCSE(w2k);CNE(5.1);MCNE(6);CIWSP;CIWSA
Have you checked the logs of your firewall to see if there are any denials of the ICMP protocol (Ping) ? Are all the computers on the same hub/switch ? And your sure that you do not have ANY firewall software installed on this workstation ?

Offline NT Password & Registry Editor, Bootdisk...
Easy one :).
When the login screen comes up.. normally you would have
1) USERNAME
2) PASSWORD
3) DOMAIN
Instead of typing it in that way.... type it in like this... username@domain.com . You will see the domain grey out, becuse you are telling it which domain to login with. Let me know if...
Are you pinging the netbios name or the ip address ? You should be able to ping the ip address no matter what. Let me know. If you cannot ping the computers name. It is definetly a dns or wins issue.
