Got an issue which is preventing some email from arriving to mailserver.
The error points to the mail server and "but connection died. (#4.4.2)I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long."
I have done research and not much is being told about...
Greetings,
Having been exposed to Check Point firewalls, I'd appreciate some feedback of advantages/disadvantages, etc on implementing a cisco pix solution as an alternative to Check Point.
Check Point so far has been pretty good, however, not many clients can afford this solution. In...

Hello All:
Got a 478 error, backup failing.
Created another mailbox store (within same SG) & move all mailboxes into it.
The affected mailbox of two users remained since those are the ones that got damage. So since It won't let me move it to the new mailbox database, I proceeded to extract...

Your internal domain name can be anything BUT make sure the internal main name is not taken in the Internet, just in case.
Second: I'd recommend you stick with the .com extension for your internal domain. Your web server, your company's internet presence FQDN has nothing to do with your...
Hello All:
I've read about the Ad Db & logs to be placed on different physical hard disks, however, there's also a known issue if you place either Db or logs in the section where the windows 2000 system files are.
I believe it has something to do with I/0 writes.
If you know anything, let us...
Check Point is porbably one of the easiest FWs to manage in the market, although licensing & support cost lots of dollars.
Also, I believe they have patented the stateful inspection, if you want to read about that, I recommend u do.
By the way, Do cisco pix fws fo NAT using one IP address or...

Good Luck! and let us know if you resolved the issue!
Yes, I did that since I have SNMP running on the w2k node. however, it failed to get info from FW.
I was able to get the hostname of FW as well as the SNMP section but not the interfaces names and Ips.
Thanks
Once again,
Succesfully installed FW-1 on W2k Svr & connected via
GUI. Created FW object & network as well. Then when
installing the 1st rule, I get an error:
unable to open "Device\FW-1" failed to get interface
list.
Thanks for your help!
Hello,
Installed FW-1 on W2k svr & succesfully connected via GUI
Defined the environment variable.
However, the cmd line is not workin at all under w2k svr. going to cmd prompt and typing fw stop or any other cmd, says it's unrecognized.
Am I missing something?
Thanks
Hello All:
