Hello All:

Not too familiar with configuring CP FW-4.1 on Windows 2000, However, I have managed to connect via the GUI to the FW running atop w2ksvr. Now, about to create objects and wondering about the name for the firewall object.
On Nokia boxes, the hostname which is configurable via the browser-based Voyager, can be setup there. Of course this also has to be reflected at time of initial setup of nokia box. What is the name here though on a w2k svr system?
is this the name of the node? Should there be a hosts/lmhosts file for this to work?

Thanks for any information!

The name of the object isnt inportant.
as it is referenced by the IP address.
if you have a name in the Hosts (or any other reference that the server uses (DNS, other) for the IP address of the firewall use the name referenced in that.
