We did not put the PEP into our Callpilot 4.0 system, as the vendor letter stated a cost to install. Is there a way to manually change the time that goes out on voicemail messages? The switches all have the correct time and the windows hotfix was installed, so the Windows OS is reflecting the...
We know that a patch is required for the system, but I was wondering if there is a way around the patch i.e. a way to manually fix the problem until our vendor (which your article comes from) is able to get us the patch.
Hopefully someone can help me...We did not put the PEP into our Callpilot system, as the vendor letter stated a cost to install. Is there a way to manually change the time that goes out on voicemail messages? The switches all have the correct time and the windows hotfix was installed, so the...
Someone recently asked me if it is possible for a fax to come in through a menu without going through fax express messaging which would prompt the person faxing to enter an extension. Is it possible for the menu to know it is a fax and accept it without this extra step?
We have some broken 3904's and I was wondering if anyone has had experience taking it apart and fixing minor problems with it. I currently have 3904's with lines on the screen and some have off hook buttons that are kind of stuck
Short of putting a microphone up to a handset while a voicemessage from Callpilot is playing, is there anyway to export a message and turn it into a .wav or .mp3 so that it can be burned to a CD?
I'm in a school district and they need to grab voicemails for evidence...
Can anyone tell me the difference between NTDK20JA & NTDK20GA
Our system currently has the NTDK20GA and the company we ordered from gave us the NTDK20JA. Is it possible to remove the additional parts off the GA board and put them on the JA board or does it have to be the NTDK20GA card.
Any...
I've been trying to change my LDN0 from 8888 which is sending people to voicemail to an actual person who would be at 5500 or 5401 everytime I'm in ld 15 and I try to chg LDN0 to either 5500, 5401 or even 8101 which is a programmed ACD it gives me the error SCH0241. Do I need to out what's...
Recently random phones will have no dialtone. The display is fine and it shows a phone next to an extension. I asked the one person with the problem to try calling a number even though there was no dialtone in case it was just a case of no dialton. That didn't help.
I called the individual to...
Someone had setup Traffic to collect data from our switches. The Package necessary for Traffic analysis was not purchased. Is it possible to process the data that was collected if the package was purchased, or is there a way to use the data collected manually to calculate trunk usage?
Our district was able to set up e-mail notification, but it is through the use of the OTM's alarm notification. I don't know exactly how ours is setup but the OTM sees the 911 call it shows up through alarm notification and then we have the alarm notification sent to something called intermapper...
I think we'll be ok with that for now. These calls are far and few between and they have only been in our area code recently. Thanks for all your help. I have a much better understanding of how NPA and NXX work
I took the 4 exchanges out of NXX and it seems to have worked....what are the implications of what I did? I'm assuming it only denys the 544, 555, 556, 976 calls only in my area code...
Our area code is 609, all people need to do is dial i.e. 9 for an outside line then 555-9999 or 554-rent and we're charged $10 per call. But I think you pretty much said the same as mluckie where I would need to deny 555, 554, 976, 556 for every NPA. If there is a way to script this how would I...
I did what you suggested which seemed right but it's still letting the call go through I'm not getting a fast busy. I'd paste what I have in my system but the virtual terminal won't let me copy and past text even though it says you can copy
