not sure about programming the form, but a crystal report can have pre-loaded parameters to select from and it is here that you can set a default.
BTW, Null and No Value are two entirely different values on Crystal Enterprise and you will get different results or errors in certain circumstances.
I'm in the process of migrating 3000 reports from Seagate Info to CE 10 and I have run into this as well. I have found that if I use Crystal Reports to open up the main report and then each sub report and then republish to the Enterprise servers, those reports will then run.

I thought that I saw a little blub somewhere that said you can use Ver 9 Crystal Reports to open ver 10 saved reports.
I am going to be upgrading to CE 10 as soon as we are sent our disks. I need to know if all my users who have CR 9 on their desktops will need to go out and buy Crystal Reports...
Let me clarify that. IF you have ver 8.5 Crystal reports and publish to the CE 9 server, if you wanted to open that same report back up and make some changes in your 8.5 Crystal Reports, then you would hve to have kept another copy of the RPT file elsewhere.
The RPT is upgraded to a 9.0 version...
