    Cmos password problem

me neither, in my experience it's always cleared the entire cmos when i close the jumpers or remove the battery, although battery removal is a pain in the arse, i recommended it once, then got called up about 10 mins later and got told it was giving a cmos error warning, turns out they didn't...

    Cmos password problem

yup u can short the cmos & it'll reset everything in it, the should be three jumpers for this, they're usally close to the battery but not always, if u still have the motherboard manual it'll tell u in there, if not a quick search on the net u should be able to find a diagram that'll show u all...

Pulling Values in one cell based on another

if i understand u correctly u could do this: say your customers are in cells A7 to A16, and u have a cell reference link of A5 (cell reference link is in the format control of your drop down box)it'll return a number depending on what customer is selected. Your customer numbers are in cells B7...

    Floppy Drive won't read

    Floppy Drive won't read

where is the drive situated on the floppy cable? or is there only the one connection? also the easiest way to know if the cable is on backwards is when u boot, the power light will come on and stay on.

    build problem

are u sure you've got the jumper sset correctly on the cd if you're running it on the same cable as the hard drive. make sure the hard drive is set top master and the cd is set to slave (the jumpers are on the back of the cd near the ide cable normally) oh it doesn't sound like a mobo prob. i...

Is SCSI more trouble than its worth?

i'd agree, SCSI is far more reliable than ide, just make sure of scsi id's etc. also what os u using?, if you're using 2k it could be worthwhile thinking about the disk type (using dynamic instead of basic so u can stripe or span the volumes)
