I have Dual IP403's 3.1(56) on both. Central VM server in the remote location..
Main location VPN to the Remote location.
When calling an internal extension that is in a remote location, I cannot hear the ringing....only dead air until VM or the user picks up....

As a phone vendor, this could be value added on a support contract. The file diff would be very useful as often times we discover the client has attempted to do something that did not work out. So, if you diff the last backup to the file you might find to be corrupt, that is where the value...
You actually need to change the Key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Network Alchemy\Voicemail\Directories\MinimumMessageLength
One user posted that a change from the 1000 value to 50 works fine for them.
There is another key underneath it that reads MinimumRecordedNameLength, but...

Has anyone ever seen message skipping. Not like a cell cut out, but an actual piece of the .wav file missing.
Ex. A caller leaves a phone number but the first three are obviously not there. "you can call me at (blank) 5555" and continues talking...

Also, happens when...
When you open the config. there is a category on the left called system. When double clicked the interface opens and there is a tab at the top called voicemail. In that window, there is a Voicemail IP Address field and it should be populated witht eh IP address of the voicemail server.
