Hearing the Ring across the VPN

I have Dual IP403's 3.1(56) on both. Central VM server in the remote location..

Main location VPN to the Remote location.

When calling an internal extension that is in a remote location, I cannot hear the ringing....only dead air until VM or the user picks up....

Check to make sure Allow direct media path is checked on in the VoIP line.

First: Make sure that all settings are identical on the VoIP lines!

With 3.1(56) i use the following settings on the VoIP-lines:
Enable Faststart=On
Out of band DTMF=On (Because I'm using G729 CS-ACELP)
Voice Networking=On
All other=Off.

I have had no problems with this setup.
