I recently converted from Access 2000 to 2007. My original graphs were created in 2000. I converted the db, everything appears to be fine, but everytime I try to access my charts, in any mode, the Windows installer comes up trying to reconfigure. Am I missing references here?
Also in print...
After upgrading my Access 2000 to SP3 functions that used to work on my forms are no longer working.
For example, I have an order form that has a subform on it that is a continuous form showing all the days orders listed by time shipped. I have set it up so that a user could click on the order...
Is there another way to check a drive other than the Dir command? Dir works for me only when the computer I am trying to access on the network is up and running, otherwise, I receive an error. If the cpu I am trying to access is up and running, this code works

To output a report or form into Word, take a look into the OutputTo command by creating a Macro. You will have such options as having Word autostart, and the report can be saved in formats such as .rtf, etc.
You may want to try using Sorting and Grouping in the report. Right click anywhere on the report and go to Sorting and Grouping.
After doing so select the name of the field you want to sort, for example, student name, choose Yes for header and footer, select Each Value for Group On, choose...
Thanks to Jitter, that idea actually does work. But until I get better at VB, there must be an easier way to apply a rollover to each button instead of writing a MouseMove event into each control. Again, thank you for your input. I will check out the website....Looks good so far, thanks for the tip.

Does anyone have any thoughts to Access as a large scale database? Can it be used effectively with thousands of transactions stored within? Can an Access Database be upgraded to SQL Server if need be down the road? I recently completed a database application in Access for my boss at one location...
Thank you all for your help. I recently switched the data to the Win98 machine and now all is well. I am quickly learning how MS can make you look silly in a hurry with these quirky problems that can arise. Again, thank you for your insight.....
Thanks for the response. The mystery continues today. I made a new database, imported the existing data from the most current copy I have, and then created a shortcut from the Win98 machine to the host, the XP machine. Lo and behold it worked. I then went to the XP machine and accessed the new...
Does anyone know of any conflicts between XP and Win98 when accessing a database over the network? I only have a two station network, directly connected, no hub. My application was running fine for several days and now the Win98 cpu cannot access the database on the XP machine. I tried one of my...
