We have an issue viewing our company website from inside of our network and I think I've found the problem but don't know how to solve it. Our file server (server 2003) is our main DNS server with the exchange server (server 2000) serving as a backup. There is a host record (uses parent domain)...
Problem solved. They changed their e-mail system to domino e-mail management organizer (DEMO). I'm not all that familiar with that but they changed the format from HTML to plain text and now they come through fine.

I have a user who has had e-mails supposedly "disappear" from his mailbox. We run exchange server 2003 and outlook 2003. He said they are not being routed into junk e-mail, deleted items, or anything like that. This happens when he closes outlook and reopens and they are all internal company...
Has anyone run into the same problem I have with citrix metaframe client version 9.2? It seems the only way you can open apps is by going through citrix program neighborhood. I cannot open apps directly from the desktop by double clicking on them. The version before this works fine. We run...
Yep, the 2000 server is a citrix server. I think I might have found the problem. My batch file was looking for the shutdown.exe file on the C drive instead of the M drive. So I've modified that and I'll see if it works tonight or not.
I have a couple of Windows 2003 servers that are also citrix servers and I want them to reboot on their own every night. I tried setting up a scheduled task for that and it will not work. I also got a batch file from someone that I thought would work but still no go. My windows 2000 server...
Yep, it is shared. Everyone is using the server driver. I did think about swapping out the jetdirect. It very well might come to that if I cannot pinpoint what the issue is.
All of a sudden my HP LaserJet 2420 printer is spitting out a blank page after every print job. It is attached to an HP jetdirect box but I can't pinpoint what caused the change or how to fix it. After looking at the printing preferences for it I noticed that "use different paper/covers" was...
Well, I have a new problem regarding this thread. Apparently we are not able to write to this mounted drive. When I type "mount" it lists the drive as rw however which tells me we should have read-write access to it. So, what am I missing???
So if my mounts are not in here I need to add them? This is what I have. I dont see my mounted drives.....

First off, let me say I know very little about linux! We have a brand new linux server with RedHat Enterprise ES 3.0 Standard Edition on it. I have figured out how to mount drives from my linux server to windows servers using this cifs command:
mount -t cifs...
Does anyone know where I can get a hold of an older version of Java that will install on NT 4.0? The latest version gives me an error message saying a DLL file could not be run. I'm assuming the latest version does not support NT 4.0.
I have a windows 2003 file server with xp clients. I have a couple of new printers I created and instead of touching each client I want to create a script that will add these printers locally for each client when they login to the network. I used the following script to delete the old one and it...
Yes to your first question. As for the second question I did both... I originally backed them up from backup exec and then I eventually put them in .pst files. I recently recreated an AD account for this guy and then I imported all of the .pst files into the recreated mailbox.
