I am having an issue with forward lookup on 2 PC's
I have tried many different things to resolve however I have run out of things to try. Below is a list of things I have tried and all have been unsuccessful in resolving the issue. I have included netdiag log to show errors.

That seems to be more about setting the backups to run from the schedule which we have resolved by adding a system varible found on the legato knolage base.
Just to clarify I can perfom all normal backups from the networker adminstrator and have the full functionality on all the netware server...

The only reason that i can think of to install WINS is if you have either any older clients, or any applications that use wins to resolve names.
The main advantage of getting rid of wins is it is quicker to resolve names as you only have to query dns not dns and wins.

On the server open a command prompt and type IPCONFIG /ALL this will show all ip address configuration on all network cards
This should show you the ip address you are looking for.

When you created the task did you add you credetilas to the task.
Use the wizard and try to set up the task again and when saked place you credentials using the correct format, ie domain\username and password.
(you may have entered tha password incorrectly)
