Your problem is that you do not have the correct dll's and files installed to run the application on a stand-alone. I suggest you read the sections in the VB6 books on creating installations and put the necessary dll's, etc., in a .cab file and have them installed with the application.

You may want to try this. Go to My computer right click and go to the Device Manager Screen. Go down the list till you come to the IDE/ATA/ATAPI controllers. Open this list and find where the CD-ROM is attached. IDE-1 or 2, then set the properties so it looks for DMA rather than PIO.
Hold the phone!! You are using a P4 Intel Processor in a Soyo Ultra Dragon motherboard? You really do have a problem. The Ultra Dragon is a Socket-A motherboard and only supports the AMD processor.
