Cisco exams aren't designed for civilians to pass (it took me 4 years to get my CCNA) but Lord have mercy, when you do, your life changes instantly. I am not in networking for the money, I enjoy doing it plus it's always a challenge, I don't care what certification you have. I can help you pass...
I am provisioning a CE router running BGP and in global config I type router bgp AS-NUMBER and then get error: protocol not found in image error. I am configuring a 3845 with image 12.4(13r)t. Do I need to flash the router with an image with BGP or does it have to be unlocked within the IOS? Let...
Anybody have any recommendations on a firewall simulator that may help with the Cisco Firewall Specialist certification?

Hey guys, just a quick question. I work solely on a Windows platform for my company and I have really no opportunity to gain hands-on, Cisco experience. Any ideas for what I could do, i.e internship, volunteer, etc? Even though I am certified, most shops want real-time experience. Let me know...
That's the problem. Cisco's site doesn't offer the 522 exam anymore so I can't do a stare and compare on the tested material.

I am curious if anyone out there has passed this exam by Cisco. I went to the Cisco Press website and they only have the book for 642-522 exam and I was curious if that will suffice in passing the 642-523 exam.
I pinged Cisco Press and they aren't going to make a hard copy of this book; it...
About a month ago I just passed the CCNA and will continue with the CCNP track. I am taking the BCMSN exam first and wanted some advice what I should expect when I take it. Thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot guys. Let me ask this. I work 99% with Windows. My company is starting to lean a little towards managed services which would involve more Cisco but I was curious if I should stay and wait it out or update my resume and move on. What do you guys think?

Give me your honest opinions about those 5-day CCNA bootcamps I see offered all over the net. Will they ramp me up to pass the CCNA?

I think Technology has bas been my weak area but what does that mean!!! Any thoughts as far as continuing what I am doing or have my company invest in a Bootcamp?

I am 34 and have been working in the IT for 8 years now mainly getting experience on help desks. I have 1 2500 router and 1 1912 switch. I also have the Boson CCNP simulator which includes CCNA sims, Cisco Press ICND and Intro book by Wendell Odom and a TestKing .pdf. My last 3 scores were 770...
I felt good throughout the whole exam. I will read the book again and go through all 600 Testking questions I have. I have plenty of simulator scenarios to try on. Just need some good karma to get me over the hump. I am too close at this point plus I am tired of reading the same books over and...
I purchased a 2514 router and a 1912 switch from cablesandkits.com. I have them configured real-time through my DSL modem. I know the IOS and hardware is archaic but it still keeps me in the Cisco mindset for troubleshooting. I do have a very interactive Boson simulator.
Should I download the...
I have a Testking V73 640-801.pdf I use to get a feel for the type of questions they asked. How valid are those since some answers to questions are wrong?
