MAkes sense - tried that and it lit up the option for what port I want the IPO to listen on, but still no dice - here is a report that the Digium is returning when I run the diagnostic on the line.

I am a little stuck - I am trying to get a SIP trunk up between a Digium Switchvox 65 and an IP 500v1? The trunk on the IP Office seems to come up, but the switchvox never connects and keeps kicking back that the IP Office is not responding to SIP OPTIONS. Any insight would be appreciated...
One thing I have found - especially on the 500 - if you dont have the bin for the 5410_r2 the set will not start - both bins have to be in your working directory (5410_R5 and 5410_R2)

Everyone that had the idea of the off hook station - A++++ to you. I set local busy tone under the system telephony and cleared all of the off hook users under their user telephony, and imagine that - it worked - just an update for all.

Had a few users moving out of old inter tel switches and learning the IPO the hard way. Found the one issue that really seemed to get them all - puting the overhead paging on hold (no matter how many times we tell them to hit the drop buttons on the set after making the over head page). I have...
OK a couple you guys might have found - but it bit me in the rear. 3.1(29) - user restrictions go to sleep - no kidding - I have a bunch of user restrictions in three different IPO's (two 412's and one 406v2) and they just stopped working after a bit and the system defaulted back to system...
Ok - upgraded to 3.1(48) and vm Pro 3.1(16). I also cleared the assisted transfers and added basic transfers w/ $KEY and it works perfect now. Really wierd since I have a 2.1 using assisted transfer of the directory lookup.

Here's one that caught me today - if you have a user moving from one IPO to another IPO in a SCN - when you completely delete the extn and user file on one side and rebuild on the other, the incoming call routing will not function and the internal routing will not work - even after rebooting...
Last time I hit this wall I ended up having to get Phone manager pro licenses and Phone manager pro IP Audio Enable RFA's - one each for each user.

like guru said - a license (and Avaya love's their licenses). After that it is all in the database section under the main toolbar on VMPro. I have one parsing area codes and prefixes and querying the sql and routing via the database. So what you are asking is very possible. You want to look...
Check the job aids - there are a few UDP's that have to have access and it needs to be a level 2-3 w/ QOS. Don't quote me but I would definitely chase the ports first I have seen too many quirky issues like this.

Did I read correctly - u r 3.1 on the switch and 3.0 on the VM Pro? If so make sure you get the VM Pro up to 3.1 - cleared a lot of issues for me. I was dropping VM passwords everytime the user would enter it. If I read then I'll just sit back and be quiet.

then again if you are running a scn with three pri's you would think the customer wouldn't be using a modem - but oh well...
