Sorry this is unrelated to your post curtismo but I could not figure out how to contact members directly on this site. You had an old thread ( http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1587725#post )where you reported issues regarding the mis-tagging of DSCP by MGC. What was the resolution as...
Figured it out.....my new password was 10 digits. RLC only accepts 8 digits and truncated my password. When you try to login it does not truncate what you enter. Example...via menu I set new password to: "1234567890", system truncated this and set the password to: "12345678" and will not...

I have a (SMC) MC32 card that I want to load IP Line 3.1 on but it’s missing it’s compact flash card. Can I use an “off the shelf” flash card and just load the IPL software on it? Do I need to format or initialize the “new” flash card first?
I’ve forgotten the details, but I was sure I was able to access a Rls 24 11c using the SSC’s baud dip switch and possibly entering some format of the date.
I have an older 11c (Rls 24.xx) in our lab (not under maint.) that we've forgotten the password to. Can anyone help me remember the procedure utilizing the SSC dip switches to bypass current password? I'm not concerned with current database. Thanks
