In my adventures with x-refs & hatches I have found it easier to have the hatches in a separate xref. Atach the x-refs and send the hatch x-ref to the back. In x-refs the only drawing order it recognizes is the order in which the objects were drawn. I know, it sucks!! Hope it helps!! Kat
