I've used Jouni Vuorio's regcleaner with great success on Win98, WinME and WinXP. My OS repairs always involve this to uninstall useless programs, remove partially uninstalled program names from the add/remove list and to remove invalid keys from the registry. It does a backup simultaneously...
My XP machine would never come out of Hibernation/Standby until I removed Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4 (came with my old burner). If you have older software (not just drivers for that hardware) that came with legacy peripherals (scanners, printers, etc.), make sure it has a patch for XP. There is...
Thanks SEsask, that's soft of what I was expecting. I wonder how the chain of contacts got around to Europe though... I suppose I'll never know.
I did a McAffe scan and nothing is present on my side. I have all the Microsoft vulnerabilities patched and I don't open attachments even from...
In the last two days, I've gotten my regualar 2-3 spam e-mails in OE 6 (using a Hotmail account) but I've also received 100+ from Mail Delivery Subsystem with subject, "Mail delivery failed: retuning message to sender", an other similar failed notices.
I'm not sending anything...
I fixed it by reinstalling the printer. First I removed the Printer from the Printers/ Fax and Other Hardware conrtol panel, then I restarted. When the New Hardware Wizard came up, I bypassed it's driver searching and went directly to the Lexmark driver executable and installed from Windows...

The Print Preview looks fine on a document with the Page

How bout your mainboard manufaturer's web site? My MSI mainboard has USB 2.0 and I have WindowxXP Home and the Hyperion chipset drivers provided by MSI give me no errors.
My wife wants to kill me.

FIXED IT.
Turned out to be Win98 compatibility mode. Changed it to Windows 2000 compatibility and I get the same OpenGl support without the sticky exit process.
No one has the same problem, unfortuantely. It's an annoyance rather than a major bug. I just have to kill it manually, XP doesn't crash! Thanks for the link, it may help later!
When I close my game, Unreal Tournament, in WinXP Home I get gerenal instability unless I restart or kill the Process called "Unreal Tournament" that remains in the Task Manager. How do I make it automatically shut down properly on exit?
No need to uninstall the old ones, really. New drivers should overwrite the old ones when you run the Nvidia executable, but if you run into a problem go to http://www.guru3d.com and download the "Detonator Destroyer". In the Windows Display Properties, go to Advanced then Adapter...
Did you include the space?
