I've checked for forwards and none are set, I've also used the Common Cancel code on both phones.
Unfortunately one of the phones is a POT phone so I cannot use a button with a Virtual Extension on it.

About a year ago we took on the maintenance of an NEC Aspire, the previous maintenance company refused to reveal their password so we got a guy who specialises in NEC's out to default the password for us. He also loaded the ASPIRE 7.01 onto my laptop etc. and everything was hunky dory...
Resolved it. The problem was the adjacent phone on the SV8100 analogue station module was off hook and the alarm was bleeding through to the problem phone. Re-terminating the RJ45 plug from the station port on the SV8100 cured the problem.

Had to load in a backup onto a repaired BCM50 (Hard drive had crashed, 2nd one in as many months), opted not to load the CDR data back onto the system and amazingly the BCM50 now backs up in less than 2 minutes compared to 30 minutes with the CDR data.

Any idea how to disable the CDR, as when we do backups it can take up to 25 minutes, most of the time seems to be spent on "Call Detail Recording: Compressing". Some sites are faster than others but the majority of the time taken to backup seems to be the CDR which our customers don't use...
You could try running it in compatibility mode or Virtual XP I suppose. Any chance you could email me a copy of the disk if I can work out how to private message you my email address?
