Thank you again.
I am at 6.5.22. There is no SIP license. Just a check mark.
They are using SIP phones to tie to the PSTN. Now they want the same SIP phones to tie to the SIP enabled NBX. Which is working.
My problem is with the T1 tieline Dialplan.
I believe I have the solution and will...
Thank you.
Unfortunately, my business group using NBX and VTL's to connect 8 sites,
has been aquired by a company that uses sip. My job is to merge them. That is why the tieline.
I can't convert my nbx's to sip as I have too many older phones(non sip-able).
Hello All
I am using a T1 card to tie two nbx's together. They are physically next to each other.
1 unit is running SIP mode and the other is running NIP mode, hense the tieline.
The Sip system can call extensions via this tieline no problem.
The SIp system can use the VTL's via the Tieline to...
I am now running non SIP 6.5.22, My polycom IP3000 for 3om is now disconecting. I replaced the polycom and still having issue.
Any suggestions for replaceing the conference phone?

I evaluated the clarysis i750 a few years ago for the 3com and wasn't impressed.
I use a USB headset from plantronics, works good for me.
I have been asked about using a USB phone to make users happy.
Any suggestions or comments?

I would have the SIP enabled 3com in the same location as another NIB 3com. That was to be the link.
But I can connect the 3coms using T1 cards. That would allow connections to the other 3coms using vtls
Thank you. I did not want to go to 6.5 sip. I loose too much in the process.

I am told another business unit on our corporate WAN has a Cisco IP system.
I was asked if we could talk accross the WAN to the Cisco LIke we do with our 8 NBX's
I know the VTL's won't work. Would the H323 Conections setup work?
Massachusetts is still 7 digit dialing in the western part of the state, where the rest of the state and cell phones are 10 digit dialing. Just to add to the confusion.
