so the way it is programed with DID will not work and both sides has to be Tie trunks.
The Nortel side is the Network and We have the D channel as NI2. Since it is not allowing us to do Tie changing the D-channel to other the NI-2 any suggestion?.
Thanks
I have a question about the type of tunk type to connect Nortel to Avaya. a Point to point connection betwee the 2 PBX's . On the Nortel side my service provider programed the PRI with the DID trunks rather than TIE trunks. I was watching when he was doing the programing and for some reason...
I am sorry I went and changed in LD 16 but when I went to Ld 21 to print the route again to check it is still TARG 01 and not 0. I dont know why it did not take the 0. Am I doing somthing wrong by not allowing me to change?. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated
Ihave changed the TARG in RDB to 0 and I tried to dial the trunk access code from a phone that is restricted and it still did not work.
I have noticed the phone that I can have access to the trunk it has TGAR 0 and NCOS 4
The phone that I cannot dial from The TGAR is 1 and NCOS 4
I have the need to allow all users to dial access code to a Tie trunk between 2 PBX's. At this point some users can and some cannot. There is no way of changing all users phones the NCOS. Is there a way of doing it on the trunk?whwere can I go to program it?. Thanks in advance.
If I have to dial 4 digits access code and 4 digit extensions there is no point of going to all the trouble of joining the 2 pbx's and it will not be acceptd by the Management. Any suggestions please?.
Thanks
