Running CM 6.3 (upgrading soon)
Issue: Operators using Amtelco place a call out, this comes across on trunk 4 (Group type ISDN, service type Tie), which then looks at the number, in this instance, LD, and goes, oh, yeah, send over trunk 931 (long distance trunk)
Because the call originates in...
We are in a slow migration to CM 8, and our SBC is quite old as well. We did turn off the direct IP shuffling, but it made no difference.

Thank you so much! Yeah this is all internal, so we weren't using an SBC. The other end is not Avaya, so that sounds good. This sig group is only used for this.
Def going to try to get this and go from there.

Using Avaya CM 6.3 with SM. and integration with separate company. There was no white sheet, it was just "set sip settings to default". Which we brought on a technician to program the integration. What we are seeing is when there is a call, everything works fine, but when a supervised transfer...
Never had to do this, but would this work? Basically option 2 I want a higher priority than a call that chooses option 1, so they get a higher spot on the queue. never done this in one vector with the same skill. We are a small establishment.
CM 6.2
We use EAD-MIA
All agents are skill level 1...
Thanks for the replies! Yes in the list trace it shows the spoofed number, so it must be carrier then. I have always been able to control the caller ID, but this is one clinic in a different state (technically same carrier) but I am guessing they have different rules. Thanks so much!
"I am...
If they have bridged call appearances to each other, why the need to forward to each other? They can already answer on either phone. It is redundant. No need to forward. And on tab 2 of the station form, you can change the functionality of a bridged appearance, to silent.
"I am learning all...
Running CM 6.2, we have a hospital and several clinics that are tenant based. Each have their own PRI and trunk.
One location is in another state we will say SD (South Dakota), and when they call people out of state, say ND, they won't answer because they don't recognize the number, so they...
So we have g700's, and use tenant partitioning. I have several places that have their own music source. We recently changed one of these to a Brandi player (so this is configured into an analog port). I created a music source, set that as the source for the tenant. I can call, have them put me...
The hunt group is a voice mail hunt group with aar.
This is a trunk to them.
Yes, I am working with a third party that ascom hired, but when I asked for documentation they didn't have any, and I was unable to find anything on google for this particular product.
They were unable tot ell me...
So after talking to the vendor a lot more, I think I am getting somewhere with them. One thing I don't know though, I have a hunt group 2020, they dial aar access code and 2020 to access this innovaphone. They want to know if I can strip the digits 2020 off completely, and not replace them. I...
I think that is closer. This is internal only. It is some phone used with a nursecall system. But I didn't think about adaptations. I will look into that.

So on the vendors end they are set up as a VOIP gateway, and are asking me to strip the dialback code before sending to the innovaphone voip gateway. So really they just want a sip trunk to the IP address of the innovaphone, with some sort of dial access code. I just feel like that is not enough...
So I have a CM 6.2 with System/Session Manager. I have a vendor saying they need a SIP trunk built for an innovaphone which then needs a dialback code. So I know how to build a SIP trunk, but there are no extensions involved in this, just an IP address to this innovaphone. I am not sure how this...
So odd question. Once upon a time there was an "autodial 7502" setup on many phones, this was the dictation number. Well 20 years later and that is changing, and we have no real way of knowing what phones have this button.
Is there anyway to export that kind of data? I am running reports on...
This is working beautifully. Thanks again for all the help. The only time I use variables is global, and reading the documentation on it can sometimes be like Latin for me. One thing, and I don't know if this will impact reporting or anything, but for the goto step 10 if V = 1234, I didn't...
So I think I have this, and I did decided to go with vector variables, but one question here, on your example you have:
route-to number 1234* if available-agents in skill 701 > 0 (*New VDN to vector to queue to skill 701)
You cannot route to a number and see if there are available agents. I...
I have. Still just trying to wrap my head. What you stated is how I interpreted it. I was just trying to differentiate between routing to VDN xxxx or goto vector 460 @step 10. Because I can't send to the existing VDN because it has announcements that are unneeded for an already queued call.
It...
If I don't create new VDNs and dequeue the call, and it gets answered by the second skill it queued too, does it then show as an ACD call for both skills because it was in both queues? I am just trying to understand this. I run a report for skill 430 and skill 701, it shows total ACD calls, so...
