I had to replace a UC module last week... It's a V1 module in an IP500V2 running 9.1.10...
The replacement module was at 8.1 when plugged in, so I prepared a USB key, and did a full re-install. This went perfectly, and I sat and twiddled my fingers for a couple of hours...
Ignition done, and...
I've found that if you don't install all the languages with VM Pro, then adding them later doesn't work... I had to uninstall VMP, and reinstall with the relevant languages selected... This was at 8.1 something IIRC...
After that, it works fine...
It's a V1, amriddle... There is no folder called Primary.. There's a folder called LVMAIL which contains all the language folders, and the AAG folder..
Then there's a folder called ws, containing two folders called up, and br - both empty...
So where do I put the wav files?
On an IP500v1 at 8.1 (69)...
The files are in the root of the SD card.. the TFTP server is set to match LAN1, the sources are defined correctly as WAV:filename.. the filenames are right!
But it still won't load the files on boot...
Am I missing something?
I have an IP500 at 9.1... IP phones and VM Pro server are on LAN 1 - all in the same subnet.. There is a SIP trunk on LAN2..
When I dial in on the SIP to voicemail, I can hear the prompts, and record and listen to greetings.. with no problems at all...
When I dial in to one of the IP phones...
I've just installed VMPro and ContactStore onto a Win 8.1 machine..
VMPro is working fine, and recording calls properly..
I can't browse to ContactStore to finish configuration... my browser just comes back "The page cannot be displayed"
The ContactStore service is running, and I can see from...
Yes!!!!
You have the wrong version of Communicator!
2.1 is for ACM only.. use 2.0.3.30 with 9.1 IPO.
Avaya's website is bloody awful at making this clear!

Hi all... My VM Pro (R9.1 SP3) is trying to send email via authsmtp.com.. I get messages back showing it's authenticating ok, but then I get this:
Response was 428 4.0.0 Your account is using SSL - either disable it in your email client or enable it at https://control.authsmtp.com
How do I...
Yep!! I've just discovered exactly the same issue...
Took a system from IP500 V6.1 to IP500V2 R9.1... initially built the V2 at 6.1 and upgraded following the proper steps...
Now I have CCR errors showing in SSA...
Also I'm getting Errors in Manager saying my HG VM codes are too short, even...
I should add that we're running 9.0.4, and I can send emails using Telnet from the VM server, using port 25 and the same credentials VM is using...

Hi I'm trying to set up VM to email for a customer...
They're using an external mail service, so I'm pointing VM Pro out to there....
It's configured on port 25, but I get the following trace:
19/05 11:42:56.395 DbgOut (01,5) 6856,5816: DllMain(hinstDLL=0x003F0000...
Had a fun fault tonight...
Had an incoming call route using a time profile... OOH, calls go to an off switch destination, in hours, to a hunt group... the time profile was programmed to be OOH from 6pm, but the call routing actually changed at 5pm.
Checked the obvious, like is the time right...
When any one of 4 or 5 engineers, or the customer himself, may have been the last to do any programming, any backup might not be the most recent!
Changing the PSU negates any issues!
Yeah.. we've had quite a few V1 PSUs go pop....
It's irritating that we can't get hold of spare PSUs... we have to take a whole V1 chassis to site, swap the PSUs over, and send the spare chassis away to have a new one fitted!
