    No Licensing Adm on SBS2K

We think we did! Should we run Repair or do a complete reinstall? Unfortunately, we have setup 40 computers and 40 users on Active directory. If we start all over, is there a way of saving or retaining this effort?

    No Licensing Adm on SBS2K

We installed a 5U version of SmallBusinessServer2K on a Dell server that only had the Dell setup software for Server2K and but now are trying to add more CALs but Licensing in Admin Tools can't be entered. It says to go to the Start Menu and click on Manage Server - however there is nothing like...

    Setting Brother Network Printer IP

I'm trying to add a new Brother HL-5250DN printer to our network where our ethernet segment on NT4 Server is 192.168.2.xxx with subnet 255.255.255.0 and we don't have DHCP enabled. The printer's ethernet jack lights up correctly and automatically assigns itself 169.254.206.5 with a 255.255.0.0...

Need Addl Pervasive 2000i Users Counts

We are using Pervasive 2000i with our accounting software. We currently have 20 user counts. We would like to add 10 more but Pervasive no longer sells them but rather wants to upgrade us to Ver 8 where we would pay for all 30 user counts again. Any ideas on sources for more user counts on Ver...

    Pervasive 7 Remote Connection Problems

Tom- Thanks but I finally figured it out! The server where the two accounting programs reside is multihomed (one token ring card segment 192.168.3.0 and one ethernet card segement 192.168.2.0). The Pervasive client was looking only to the ethernet card's IP for the Target Engine because our...

    Pervasive 7 Remote Connection Problems

We have two accounting programs(DBA Manufacturing V2000.1 & Platinum for Windows V4.8a) that both use Pervasive 7 in Client /Server mode. We've setup a remote location at another building connected fulltime by a VPN tunnel over broadband (T-1 w/ static IPs) to the server. No problems in setting...

    TCP/IP w/ Multihomed(TokenRing&Ethernet) in NT 4.0 Server

Thanks! I found the problem. It works fine when the Token Ring and Ethernet workstations are segregated into their own IP address segments (TR 192.168.1.x and ET 192.168.2.x) and assigning the gateway for each segment to the respective NIC IP in the multihomed server.

    TCP/IP w/ Multihomed(TokenRing&Ethernet) in NT 4.0 Server

I have both a Token Ring Card and an Ethernet Card in our NT 4.0 Server (SP6 w/ RRAS installed) that has been running IPX protocol on both segments without any issues for several years. We are finally adding a broadband connection to the Ethernet segment and must set up the TCP/IP protocol on...
