Ever since using a hotel high speed internet service, IE6 is directed back to it when I try to connect to I can get to any other site but trying yahoo always goes to the billing service. How do I stop this?

Look at your HOSTS file. In XP it can be found in c:\windows\system32\driver\etc

Use notepad and remove any entry for yahoo.com

Thanks BCASTNER but I checked the HOSTS file and there isn't an entry for yahoo.com! Any other ideas?

I'd delete the content.ie5 folder with all the temporary internet files, or use the search with hidden files showing anything with yahoo.com in or out of the file....or look for the hotel name. It has to be a cookie or a temporary internet file. Check the registry too.

The content.ie5 folder will recreate itself when you log out and back into ie6.0

Have you ran adaware?

Good Luck! :D
