ACM 6.0.1/MM 5.1.2
I've received a request to set up an auto-attendant that is a bit more complex than I've done in the past. To tell the truth, I'm not sure it can be done as requested, but thought I'd run it by tek-tips before I give up.
Assuming the someone calls the auto-attendant at...
Communications Manager 6.0.1
When we moved to ACM 5.2 and IP connected our MCCs we set up our IPSIs on a control network separate from everything else. At the time, we had five MCC in four locations across campus. Each location had two subnets, each on its own vlan (such as 10.1.168.0/28 for...
We have Communication Manager 6.0.1
Our current CDR collection solution is inadequate. Primary CDR is sent over the network to server1 (processed by script, written to mysql database and to a text file), Secondary is sent over the network to server2 (collected by netcat, written to a file)...
The TN2501 announcement board uses the same .wav format as Caller Applications, doesn't it? If so, then I think this would possibly be a better way to record, then transfer to the Caller App.
It could take someone several tries before they get the recording correct, I would think. No chance to record, re-record, is there?
Then, how would you get the message from the account on the MAS to the Caller App? Would you have to retrieve it through email?
Yeah, I read it, but I was hoping there was more info elsewhere. The Avaya docs are notorious for not having all the information needed.
So, all our end users needing to record announcements need to have an installation of Caller Application Editor? Sounds like Avaya took several steps backwards.
Currently, we have Modular Messaging 5.1 w/ Avaya Store. We are looking at replacing the system with Aura Messaging 6.3.
Can anyone tell me - how does the end user record caller application announcements in AM 6.3? When I look at the quick reference sheet, it appears that the option to press...
From what I can see, I can program the skill-related vdns, vectors, hunt-groups, and agent logins, but I can't really test it. First, I'll need to enable EAS in system-parameters features. I don't think I dare to do so. I'm reading that both EAS and BCMS/VuStats Login IDs can not both be set...

Call Center Elite Release 6.0
We currently have 5 ACDs set up, all split-based. I need to convert one or two to skill-based. I've read through much of the documentation, but I find it lacking a great deal. I'm hoping someone can set me straight.
I'd like to set...
Looking for a solution to integrate our Avaya Communication Manager v6 with Salesforce.com. Although we do not have it yet, we understand we'll need an AES.
We've been looking at various connector options, and are interested in anything that might set one apart from the others. Also...
We currently have Avaya Communication Manager 6.0.1 and Avaya Modular Messaging 5.1. Due to Microsoft's end of support for Windows Server 2003 as of July 14th, I am researching alternatives. I realize the natural next step would be to upgrade to Avaya Aura Messaging. However, the quotes I...
CM 6.0.1 Evolution Server, SMGR 6.3.12, SM 6.3.12
I have a SIP trunk between CM and SM, which seems to be configured properly.
I have three SIP phones (9620C, 9611G, 96xx Emulator), registering properly with SM, but aren't connecting to CM. Each has an icon in the upper left of their LCD...
ACM 6.0.1
We have a department using salesforce.com and are interested in adding CTI. Anybody with any experience doing this? I'm having trouble understanding well enough to get any meaningful answers from our business partner. I think I just need an AES and a server for the Open CTI Adapter. I...
Ah, found it. We already paid for CC Elite, but the feature was never turned on. Now, I don't dare turn it on until I do some more research. I have half a dozen ACDs using hunt-groups. I don't want to cause any problems with them.
