It's a PNY. I installed the latest driver but that didn't help. I'm sure this was working before and the user claims it was working as well. I can think of nothing that would have changed - and the user doesn't have admin rights to the workstation so not much of importance could have been...
Running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I have a Nvidia Quadro FX1800 video card. The card has one DVI and two HDMI connections. I have two different HANNS-G lcd monitors plugged in. One is a Hi221D on the DVI and the other is a HG216D on HDMI. I can't get the HG216D to operate at 1680x1050 while on...
I'm seeing an odd problem with items pinned to application jump lists in Windows 7. I have Excel pinned to the start menu. I've got two Excel spreadsheets that I want pinned to the jump list. For illustration, let's say I'm using sheet1.xlsx and sheet2.xlsx. I opened sheet1.xlsx and found it...
Is it possible with OWA on Exchange 2010 to give another user author access to your calendar? I see how to share the calendar which gives reviewer, but I see no way to add author permissions.
As I mentioned above, index.save does not exist - never has. I did some more testing and if I delete the default.php and then wait an hour, everything works. There must be something odd with GoDaddy's server.
I don't know exactly what to call it, but I'd like to find a way to encrypt/mask the information that is passed to PHP via GET. For example, I'd normally need http://www.domain.com/page.php?id=1234. I'd like a way to mask that so visitors can't just browse through the records by changing the...
Let's say I have a query that contains 100 records. I want to display those records x per page with navigation forward and backward through the records. I'd like to have an option for the x value. The problem that I see is that I don't know how to reference the query once I've navigated off...
I have done what you suggest and I have played with the Security Filtering to get it to only apply to a select group of users. Doing it this way doesn't seem to work - but it seems that it should. If I leave the Security Filtering at Authenticated Users, it works, but if I change it to another...
I'd like to enable a group policy that only applies when a user logs into a Terminal Server. The two things I need to set is the environment (open a particular program) and to disable the screen saver. I can do these things if I apply a GP to the user OU, but I don't want it to apply when they...
It must be 2008 R2. When you have Explorer open, try pressing the ALT key to see the menu bar and then select tools, folder options. On the view tab you should see the hide extensions check box, which is checked by default.
I had DHCP setup on a 2008 server and then I created a set of teamed NICS. I copied all of the information to the new NIC, but I get an error on bootup in the event log saying that one interface has a dynamic address for IPv6, but it doesn't (Event ID 10020). This doesn't cause any problems...
The problem was that the servers didn't have a domain suffix specified (domain.local). Setting that resolved the problem. The XP workstation was working because it was using DHCP.
It's a brand new install, still in a test environment. I can reconfigure. I do want some redundancy in the disks (with about 3TB usable), but the rest I can change. It's primary function is NAS so I don't want to do anything that will affect network access to the shares.
I just ran the utility. The device performance tests came up with about 600GB/hr whereas the system performance tests came up with about 110GB/hr. This is a bit confusing because Backup Exec is reporting about 300GB/hr for backups.
It appears that the problem isn't with the tape drive, but...
