Just found out that when a call over our SIP trunk gets put on hold, it drops at 5 minutes if not picked up before then.
It does not happen with calls from our PRI, they can sit on hold all day.
Any suggestions on how to get SIP calls to remain on hold for whatever amount of time ?
We currently have a QSIG PRI running into our router and then Call Manager. (went to our old Nortel)
I am going to be replacing it with a Primary-NI2 PRI from CenturyLink .
Both PRI are B8ZS and ESF.
Can I just go through and change QSIG to Primary-NI2 in the appropriate places ?
Or do I have...
SIP is connected to a CUBE.
But the fact that audio goes directly between SIP and endpoint gives me a direction to look.
Any other suggestions appreciated
I am running CUCM 10.5.2
We set up IP Communicator to come in on our VPN.
When we try to use Communicator, it works fine calling both directions to phones registered on CUCM.
It works calling both directions calling out the PRI connected to CUCM.
But there is no audio if a call is placed or...
Sorry for the delay.
Thanks for the input gnrslash4life.
I tried bouncing the CDR services and still had the same result.
So I ended up rebooting all cucm servers, and that cleared the problem.
Thanks for narrowing down where I should be looking
CUCM Version: 10.5.2.10000-5
When I go to Serviceability>Tools>CDR Analysis and Reporting>CDR>Search>By Phone Number
I can only see last month's call records.
How can I see calls that were made today?
We do not have CDR going to anything, I just need to see today's calls for troubleshooting...

An agent has a personal line (key 1) and a CCX line (key 2).
If an agent is in Ready state, and makes or receives a call on their personal line, CCX doesn't respond to the phone being in use, and will send a CCX call to ring and then go Not...
He needs 3 different numbers as each one is local to callers in a different area.
And I am told... It doesn't have to make sense, because he wants it that way.
I tried creating 3 different CTI Route Points as the destination that point to his cell phone.
They work when dialed directly, but not...
We have 3 campuses and each one has a local number for a guy who moves between the 3 locations.
He is in the field most of the time, and would like all 3 numbers to call his cell phone, but doesn't want to set forwards so it will ring in his office also.

UCCX 10.6
I have queue A and queue B.
Can both queues have a variable named 'count', and CCX keeps them separate by the A or B.
Or do I have to have different variable names in each script ?
We integrating some new external services, and currently CM and Unity use IP addresses.
I need to change CM and Unity to use hostnames.
I have found a lot of documentation to change IP address and/or the hostname.
I don't need to change what they are, I just need to change from IP to hostname...
Thanks for the response gnrslash4life
But it sure sounds discouraging
If you can find any ideas, I would appreciate it.
I have run out of terms to try on Google
Since the SCCP 8945 is EOL, we have moved onto the SIP 8845.
On the 8945, I could set it up so if any line on the phone was ringing, I could pick up the handset to answer the call.
But if nothing is ringing on the 8945, and I pick up the handset, I get my prime line to call out on.
On the SIP...

I have done the info under sip-ua many times.
