I m not sure if this is the right forum, let me know if it isn't.
We are hooking up a new SIP trunk from Century Link to our CUCM..
All of their demo configs are for a CUBE connection.
We are licensed, it says CUBE is enabled, all of the provided name, pws, are programmed.

Debug ccsip messages only ever shows an INVITE, never REGISTER

We are on CUCM 10.5.2.10000-5
The router is Version 15.4(3)M4

We have an older version of SIP to CUCM working in the router right now.
Any suggestions ?

Does CL require registration? Some carriers do. Some don't.

CenturyLink says they require registration to bring the trunk up.
And they say it starts with me.
But I have never been able to send a REGISTER

Under your SIP-UA field in the router do you have the correct info?

As GNR mentioned, under sip-ua you should enter the pilot number, authentication id and password since CL does require SIP registration.
CL should have provided all that information to you before implementation.

I have the info CL finally provided.
I have done the info under sip-ua many times.
But...it all hit the fan yesterday, and now Cisco is taking a look at it.
Per Cisco...I have everything programmed as it should be; but they don't know why it isn't sending REGISTER.

So, GNR and why, I appreciate your willingness to help out.
But it looks like Cisco needs to figure out what is going on.
Thanks

Sometimes resetting the trunk in CM will send off a register to the telco.

The final outcome is, when using...
Cisco IOS Software, C2900 Software (C2900-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.4(3)M4
The 'debug ccsip message' WILL NOT show the REGISTER request.

But 'debug ccsip message will show the Register request on
Cisco IOS Software, C2900 Software (C2900-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.4(3)M2

On the newer software, you MUST use 'debug ccsip all' to see the REGISTER
