    yes, the agents need to use the AltiAgent client instead of AltiConsole. Before you can load the software you have to make sure that your system has AltiAgent client licenses loaded onto it.

    You need to downgrade the Firmware on the phones. Your 5.0A system is probably using the H.323 protocol and with 5.1 it changed to SIP. These new phones will only work with SIP Servers. There should be a TFTP program on your system so that you can send new firmware to the phones.

    If you can power up the Server, there should be a tool loaded called VoxConverter. It will convert the voicemails into a .WAV format.

    Whetdesert What software level is your Server at? Do you know what firmware load your phone is at? Does the phone's LCD display show anything diffent (e.g SIP REG FAIL)? What type of phone? 600, 705, 710, 720 ? Is the phone registering via VPN or over public network?

    The only way I get around them deleting a message by pressing 1 then 1 is to check the 'Confirm Message Deletion" box.

    The VLAN feature is only to seperate voice and data on the same LAN. Your server would have to have two NICS. For you boss, the phone config will be the same as your IP phone. How about using IPTalk on a laptop, instead of taking a phone? will work just as well

    what version of software is the Server running on? Do you have SIP NAT and the public IP address configured in AltiEnterprise Manager?
