Do I HAVE to Dial 1 to hear new messages?

Pet peeve with the Altigen voicemail system: rather than automatically beginning to play your new voice mails after logging in, the system demands that you dial 1 first. And guess what you dial to DELETE voicemails? Also 1. So if you have a jittery cell phone connection it becomes relatively easy to inadvertently send two 1's in a row, thereby deleting the new message before you have heard it. Is there any way to force the Altigen voicemail system to begin playing new voice mails AUTOMATICALLY after the user logs in?

The only way I get around them deleting a message by pressing 1 then 1 is to check the 'Confirm Message Deletion" box.
