Hello,
I do not know if you have had any luck with this issue but I had something similar some time ago with T208M phones that had a firmware version earlier than V4.60. The phones were not restarting they were locking up and had to be power cycled to get them running, this happened across...
Hello,
Its been a long time since I have worked on a Option 11C but a customer of mine has an Option 11C at one of their sites and they want to have a call go to both an analog and digital phone when the digital extension number is dialled, I am sure the Option 11C can do this but not sure on...
Thanks OzzieGeorge for that bit of information, I was thinking that the ports must have been disabled or not used on the backplane.
I will try and get to the console and find out what speed etc by looking in 400x but by default I think it should be 1200,n,8,1 and the cable should be a null...
I will have to check what it is tomorrow, thanks for the information.
From what I have read with this CPU it is a special connector on the processor similar idea to the Ericcson BP250.
Thanks
Stuart
I have tried to find out but never had an explanation, it can be painful sometimes but as you know most people get around it with libs, sorry.
Also I wished you could assign another Offset filter for Night1 or Night2, it wold be handy sometimes.
Hello,
I have not worked on a 120 for some time but I always just used a terminal program (Hyperterm) and connected to the DB25 on the backplane on PIM 0 with a NULL cable and just used the normal keys like /, Enter and Space, has this change in later versions of the software, I have tried to...
Hello,
I have a customer that called me regarding their IP Office 406 with 4.2 software with problems with incoming calls via indial directly to a hot desk user that is logged out, they are saying that before it went to the group if the person was logged out, is this done using call forward...
Thanks for the information, I have been going through the manuals and I understand what you are saying, the MSC does all the Telephony and the mainboard runs the applications such as the voicemail, wan etc but why can't I access the system via the Telset programming, I would have thought it...
Hello All,
I am new to the BCM, I have only worked on one since doing a course some months ago but have a fair number of years experience in other systems including Nortel.
Last night I had a call to look at a BCM400 with the voicemail not working but when I looked at the system the telephony...

Thanks for the info but I have set up all of the IP LINES on each of the systems and they are working ok with the occasional problem if one of the sites has a problem with the network connection, after the link comes back up that site needs to be IPO needs to be restarted before the VoIP will...
At each site there is a router which is then connected to a carriers network, I do not know how that network is created but each site is visable to every other site.
Stuart
So at each of the points of the star I only tell it about the centre system ie If I use Site A as the hub and Sites B & C & D as the points I would create a VoIP LINE to Site A and have only the IP ROUTING detail for Site A, at Site however I would have a VoIP LINE to each of the others with the...
I have four sites with an IP 406V2 unit at each site, thes are all connected to a corporate IP network and each unit has a LINE (as in IP LINE) to each other.
I just want to see if what I think is correct:-
Under IP ROUTE in each of the IP 406V2 would be all of the other sites IP ROUTE data as...
That is correct you start on pair one of the tail to the card slot and then use every second pair but that is not the problem, I can access the line outgoing ok.
To add confusion to the problem I removed all the trunks and then removed the cards then I put one card back in slot 10 programmed up...

As far as the cards go, I swapped one of the cards into a slot that has a COT card in it which is working and the fault stays with the TN so it is not the card.
There are two paremeters PPID & BTID which are set to 0 on the faulty circuit and 8...
I agree John, it is strange, it is like the system is not seeing the incoming call, in fact if I do a TRAC 0 10 1 on the trunk it shows idle when I call it, that is why I can dial the ACOD and answer the call (I have to dial something before we can talk).
Is there something that needs to be...
The ICOG value is set to IAO (in and out)
The problem is across two card that I have put in, I have swapped the cards to a slot that is working and it is fine.
The TNB data:- 1 5 does not work, the only difference is the PPID BTID which I can't set.

I am installing a new CO trunk card into an Option 11C and I can't seem to receive calls on them, I can dial out by using the ACOD and I can answer the incoming call by dialling the ACOD when I have a call set up but when I do a TRAC on it shows IDLE, am I missing something.
I have put the card...
