Hello.
You could either get a DC power supply (to replace AC one) for your device or get an inverter, which would feed off of -48VDC and let you plug in 120VAC device.
Good luck.
Start with stupid stuff - are the SFPs the same type and match to the fiber SM/MM?
I know you said the connection worked for a few, but just in case.
Are the devices close to each other? if so, the signal maybe too "hot" for reliable connection. You might need an attenuator. Just a thought.
Hi, all.
I had a Solaris 8 box working as an NTP server with timesource TOD signal coming in on ttyb port, all working great.
The output format of TOD signal was changed recently on the timesource from NTP4 to CISCO ASCII. I still see timestamps with tip, but does not look like Solaris xntpd...
Thanks again!
Option #1 did not seem to work, but option #2 worked like a charm.
I did have to edit sendmail.cf directly as opposed to instructions I was following from here: http://www.softpanorama.info/Solaris/Networking/configuring_solaris_sendmail.shtml
It is an excellent writeup, but...
Thank you, SamBones.
That worked to produce the result I wanted, although not the way I expected. The system actually found an SMTP server in "domain-2.aaa", which still worked due to return address switch.
However, I would really like to specify the original SMTP server (smtp.domain-1.eee)...
Hello, all.
I have a Solaris 8 box, from which I would like to send emails from various scripts. There is an SMTP server on the network that will allow me to do so, so this box will be just a client.
I am not planning on receiving email, just sending.
SMTP server requires mail messages it...
This may or may not work in your situation, but I see no reason why not. I have used multiple drivers for WinXP on Win2K3 without any issues. XP and 2003 are the same OS - workstation and server versions.
For example, I have used touchpad, audio and video drivers on a notebook where it's owner...
Hello, everyone.
I was wondering if anyone could point me to an existing product. We would prefer off-the-shelf solution.
We have a building with several different companies and front door is always locked. We would like to install an intercom-to-phone system outside for visitors.
Our...
If this is still an issue...
Bronan, I would try your driver, but I was not able to find it on Verbatim's site.
Can you post a link or steps to find it on their site?
Thx
I have to say I have never tried to make an image of a software raid. It would make sence to presume, however, that you only need to make an image of one of your drives. And if you need to boot from it, it should behave as if the second drive has failed.
Ghost-11 should be OK, if you can load...
I have a SunBlade 150 with local VGA monitor, USB keyboard and USB mouse connected. Don't ask, please, local monitor is a requirement.
I am about to install Netra x4200 into the same cabinet and I would like to connect them to a KVM switch, so that I do not have to get a second...
OK, you can actually try this: when you update the driver, try pointing to the following 2 folders:
c:\windows\inf
or
c:\windows\system
I have seen this work on several occasions.
And I do apologize that I keep bringing this up, I know you already responded to this several times, but I just...
OK, I looked at several of the posts, but all I see is people trying to open CAB files using Winzip - and they are not supposed to. Some CAB files cannot be opened with Winzip or Windows Explorer - even though they are CABs, they are not Microsoft CABs.
Next.
The fact that Windows lists these...
I must be missing something here, but why is it you would not unzip the original file received from Verbatim while Win98SE is running instead of XP?
Unless you do not have internet connectivity from Win98...
Also, note that you can install generic USB drivers on Win98 and never need another...
Or, you could return to the original post from ITSP1965 and use bootable Windows CD.
You can boot mini-WinXP from that CD and get to needed files. You can copy them to another drive or to a network share.
The CDs I personally like are Winternals ERD2007 and Hiren's BootCD.
ERD was on...
Ebay is your best bet, I would say.
For example, this listing is active as of now

Shipping kills the deal of course, but it may work out for you.
Good luck.
