The above info was from using the VMUAID in the debug tool. It didn't say much, just "Error in send_mail. Mail NOT sent"
Turns out i had fat fingered my DNS address, doh, lol.
Thanks for suggesting JBmail. I'll check it out for future issues.
I have the remote WAN IP whitelisted as the only valid IP that can get through the firewall. Hopefully it is enough to keep the hackers away. Tough to stay one step ahead these days it seems.
I haven't set up too many remote IP phones on a 9100 and was setting one up today and ran into an issue. Not sure if that is how it is supposed to work or not.
I had already enabled 10-46-14 (NAT mode for DT900/800) but wanted to register my phone onsite first. I had the standard settings in...
I have a new 9100 with all IP phones, and all have static IP addresses.
When I connect the phones to my network (nothing else is on the switches) the phones come up without issue. When I connect the network into my gateway device, after a couple minutes, the phones all lose connection to the...
It surprisingly already had 512K in it before it was upgraded. Everything else seems to work ok. Just the issue with lights and messages not deleting properly.
Customer is complaining that their voicemail is not turning on message waiting lamps and old messages are not being deleted.
I am not sure how they are deleting messages and perhaps are archiving instead. That may be a user issue.
I have the system resetting message waiting lamps every...
Has anybody used the Grandstream DP750 base with the DP720 handset on the 9100?
I cannot seem to get it to register. I left the SIP registrar port default at 5070 and assigned a personal index in 15-05-27 and entered a user ID and password in 84-22 but the unit will not register.
I have one...
How are incoming calls set up? It would depend if you are using a ring group or DIL or DIDs.
If it is a ring group, no the destination cannot be changed without using a different mode or a transfer destination, neither can be changed without programming access.
If you're using DIDs or a DIL...
Can you imagine the fallout if a hospital was on a cloud only offering and there was an outage?"
And the costs they will be looking at. Small hospital in my town still has close to 200 extensions on their 9300. Make them go hosted at an average cost of $30-$40 per user, and the $1,000 a month...
You're right, there is a fair bit involved. Do you have the networking manual specifically? If you are NEC certified, the course for CCIS is beneficial.
I agree, the system needs to be updated. The system was originally purchased by the former owner of the company, and the selling company is out of the picture as well. I was contracted by the selling company to do the install on their behalf, so after the warranty period, the customer calls me...
It does place the call on hold. Caller hears the MOH and user can hang up the handset, set goes idle and appearance key remains green.
Phone rings like normal, can be answered and make calls as normal, just on the second appearance key. First one never recalls. We tested it from the phone...
A client with an IP Office (9.0.4.0) had an incident where a call placed on hold did not recall back to the extension.
They had a customer on hold for 26 minutes and he actually drove to the business, still on hold, to show them. Why he didn't hang up and call back is beyond me. They said...
You will have to assign the extension numbers as virtual extensions. If you leave them assigned to digital ports, you will not be able to transfer to them. You will get a busy signal for an non connected port.
Once they are a virtual, then yes, CF All to voicemail.
Thank you. I made the changes and ThinkTel is seeing the correct IP and payload information now but calls are still being dropped.
They said when we reach the called side auto attendant, make our selection, the called system is sending a hold request and the 9100 is rejecting it. ThinkTel is...
