...and then give the caller the option to leave a VM for 2 of those phones. I built the Auto Attendant (564-0150) and it works correctly if I dial *564-0150 - I can leave messages for either of the 2 users as desired.
In the Hunt Pilot Cfg page of CM, I set up the Forward Hunt No Answer...
I have a Cisco 1921 ISR that I have performed the Initial Config on. After logging in with the factory username/password combo of cisco/cisco, i changed the secret password. After a save of the running config to the startup config and a reboot, I now can't login. The reason I can't login is...
I have Cisco CM 8.5 and am trying to find where to configure the transfer callback timer for extensions. To be clear, if I transfer a call to an extension, currently the extension will ring until the caller hangs up (on exts. without VM). I'd like this instead to ring for 5 rings, and if not...
Thanks, but not quite what I was looking for. What I need is for whenever anybody in our company wants to fwd a message to a coworker, I'd like to get rid of the "enter the recipients name" option and make it "enter the recipients extension number..." I realize that you can do this by dialing...
I have Cisco Unity Voicemail (version 8.5) and have questions about general configuration.
Are we able to change some default configs in Unity, pertaining to forwarding messages to another user's VM box? Specifically, the default method of forwarding is by searching for the recipient by name...
That had occurred to me. I ran a backup last night, by the way. Is it common, when a HD is starting to fail, for it to only affect a small portion of things like this? The system is absolutely fine, other than this. It seems odd to me that it would affect the same skillset, and only that one...
I have a Nortel BCM400 and am running CallCenter on it, with approx. 20 different skillsets. These are all existing skillsets that have been in place and functional for several years. Suddenly yesterday one of the skillsets stopped working. I verified that calls were hitting the BCM (saw them...
I just figured out the Answer DN part of it. One last question for you (I believe). The Answer DN buttton is currently not on the key that I want it be on. It's not a line, so F*81 won't work to move it. Any suggestions as to how to swap it with another key?
Sorry, I'm a little green here. The Internal Autodial key is no problem, I know how to do that. But how do I config an Answer DN key that doubles as an autodial? The way I am reading this, I am going to need 2 keys: 1 for monitoring, and another for actually answering the calls. Is that correct?
I have a BCM 400 and need to set up an assistant so that she can see when her manager is on his phone, as well as answer calls for him when needed. I thought it would be as simple as adding his target line to her phone set, but that isn't doing it. Not sure if this info is needed or not, but...
I have mixed software versions of BCM's in the field, and am stuck on this one. I know thru Element Mgr where to find this particular field, but can't find it in the older 3.6 version (non EM). What I need, thru EM:
Telephony/Dialing Plan/Private Network/Location Code
Any ideas on where to...
I have a BCM400 and I'd like to have my superior's extension appear on my T7316E. In Element Mgr I can see that I have a blank button but am not sure which feature code to use to make this happen. Any ideas??

I am new to the Cisco world. We have a Cisco Unified CCX Enhanced system. Some reports list calls as abandoned, some list as aborted. What is the difference between the two? Thank you.
I am trying to get a certain DN to not forward to VoiceMail. Looking at the programming, I have FDN and HUNT both pointing to the VM. How do I remove these? I just want to leave them blank. I've tried to nul them out, but it won't take that.
Thanks for any help.
