All: I found my resolution to be: In Excel/Options/Add-ins make sure the Exact Globe 2003 box is unchecked. Then launch the Exact Excel add-in, and the .EXD files will be recreated. Not sure if my W7 being 64-bit made a difference.
On a W7 32-bit computer: renamed the .EXD files...
Yes, Jay, this is similar and the 'fix' as noted in the post on the customer portal is the fix that gets Excel working (on my computer) without the message, and the ES Excel reports working without the message. It is the Excel Add-In itself that has stopped working.
I didn't check the...
All:
For those of you who use the Macola ES Excel Add-In, you may have already discovered, or are just discovering, the effects of the recent critical update pushed April 10th by Microsoft.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2598039
Users will be getting a message: “Object library invalid or...
Thank you for the responses. This is precisely the info I needed to confirm my conclusions from my research. Even answered a question I thought about, but didn't ask (deferred reports) -- because I didn't want to mess with that, either!
Once again, you guys come through, thanks so much,
Julie B.
We have recently (10/3/2011) upgraded from Progression 7.6 to ES 9.5.500.
Because these Reset reports take so long to run they were only done sporadically in Progression, but I think that in ES they seem to be more important and should be run more regularly. Is this in fact the case? (I'm...
Hi,
We have recently upgraded from Progression to Macola 9.5.500 and are having problems with the AR Commissions Due Report. We have discovered one bug involving commission being calculated on freight when it shouldn't be that has apparently been corrected in a later version.
However we are...
Hi all, We have recently (10/1) upgraded to MacolaES 9.5 from Progression 7.7.4.
As we approach our first month-end closing, we are wondering how the MacolaES 9.5 commission reports compare with the process in Progression 7.7.4. Our former process involved running the commission due by cash...
We are upgrading to Macola ES V 9.5.500 E4Shell V 9.5.0.343, and we are on Windows 7 Professional 32-bit OS and Office 2010 (Excel 2010).
As I am working with the test company on our one PC that uses the F9 add in, I am attempting to get the Excel add in to connect to the Test company...
Thanks. Unfortunately, this didn't fix it. I was hopeful, too; it sounded like it would work.
Reset on order and allocations was run again over the long weekend and the situation still hasn't resolved.
I'm going to go back over the po's, one that 'works' and the one that's causing the...
...the reset box.
In the meantime I've checked the IM master and IM/LOC audit trails for the part number, also file validations for the IM and AP Vendor, and saw nothing *'d or otherwise out of the ordinary....
Is it time to call my vendor and check for a database disconnect somewhere? [:-(]
Hi all,
Although I'm certain I've come across this before, the steps I've tried haven't resolved this issue, so before I spiral out of control into a mess of over thinking:
From the user's email to me (just an aside, the email is titled "HELP". [smile] Gotta love it):
"In Inventory...
Thank you both for your response. It confirms my suspicions. I really appreciate the additional info on the effect this would have on MRP. This gives me all the information I need! Thanks once again, Julie B.
Hi all, we are using Progression 7.600.300c - SQL. Our question is, in Order Entry, is there a way to globally change the date on multiple line items? For example, if a customer calls to push out the shipping date, the O/E people need to change the date on the order header and then each...
This thread639-1471687 is the closest I came to my issue while searching the forums.
We are using Progression 7.6.300C-SQL. One of our customer service reps entered a Customer Order with '0' in the Order number field instead of using F5 to assign the next available number.
The order #0...
Hi,
We are using Macola Progression v7.6.300c SQL. I've used Macola in one version after another for 10 years that I've worked here and have always found that backordering an item during billing selection is problematic. Usually though I can produce the desired document(s)after two or three...
After I got your response I spent an hour or so in our 'Test' company trying to recreate the occurrence without any success. So I'm at a loss for an explanation of what the heck happened.
However, your suggestion to close the PO (it can be closed, no further receipts expected) helps to...
We are using Macola Progression 700.6.300c SQL.
On the Scheduled Receipts report, two line items (same PO) are showing '*' as late when in fact they are both received. Both lines were over, one within and one outside of the set tolerance, but were accepted at the warning prompt. I don't use...
This function allows for deletion of fully received and vouchered purchase orders that have not been formally closed but are eligible for closure; there is also an option to include partially invoiced PO's. However, there is no visibility (that I've been able to find) to review what purchase...
Thanks dmrVA, that's interesting to know. All three users that get this error report that getting out and back into Progression resolves the issue; but that it happens with such frequency as to be annoying.
My Macola consultant has offered to pursue this again with Macola, so that will be my...
I tried to recreate the error yesterday but couldn't; fortunately, it decided to be intermittent again today, but a little different. I also got this further description from the user: Every morning, he opens Progression and then Multiple Level Item View (from the Progression shortcut)and keeps...
